BEAULIEU SQUARE WELCOMES BRIGHT HORIZONS NURSERY

Award-winning developers Countryside and L&Q are pleased to welcome leading nursery provider, Bright Horizons to Beaulieu Square, at the heart of its new development on the outskirts of Chelmsford, to provide a brand new day nursery for local families moving to Beaulieu. Construction work started on Beaulieu Square this week, to create a striking new neighbourhood centre, with an excellent range of community facilities for residents to enjoy.

Beaulieu Square consists of five attractively designed buildings around a central landscaped square, which will host the new nursery, as well as a range of retail outlets, a restaurant, Beaulieu Community Centre, a health centre, and a Sainsbury’s Local store, plus a collection of one and two bedroom apartments and duplexes on the floor above. Beaulieu Square will have excellent pedestrian and cycle access, as well as plenty of car and bicycle parking spaces.

Andrew Carrington, Managing Director of Strategic Land at Countryside, comments: “Designed with families in mind, Beaulieu is a fantastic place to raise children, so a new day nursery is a very welcome addition to Beaulieu Square. Of course, as the children grow up, they will be able to attend the new first rate primary and secondary schools planned for Beaulieu, joining the well-known New Hall Independent School which occupies a central position within the Beaulieu development.

“Providing first-class amenities and a central point for residents to come together is crucial to the long-term success of Beaulieu, and vital to ensure the new community can thrive. We recognise that new communities are more than just new homes, so commencing the delivery of the neighbourhood centre in this initial phase will provide all residents with access to excellent facilities from the outset.”

Jerome Geoghegan, Group Director at L&Q said: "Beaulieu Square has been designed to serve as the ‘heart of Beaulieu’, so we are delighted to secure the leading Bright Horizons brand, giving parents peace of mind that their youngsters are in good hands. We want Beaulieu Square to be a well-used and much loved facility and with the broad range of amenities we are confident that this will happen."

Established over 25 years ago, Bright Horizons Family Solutions® is the UK’s leading nursery network and is trusted to provide children and families with exceptional care and education for the early years. Bright Horizons have over 200 nurseries and preschools in the UK and Ireland. The new day nursery at Beaulieu Square will provide 80 places for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Tom Chambers, Development Manager from Bright Horizons, added:“We are trusted across the UK to provide naturally inspiring, exceptional care and education for the early years and we are delighted to be part of this fantastic new Beaulieu neighbourhood. With spacious family homes, plenty of green space, an attractive central square, and new schools underway, this is a family-friendly development in every sense of the word, and we are looking forward to becoming part of the new community.”

Situated off White Hart Lane, Beaulieu Square will be located near the new primary and secondary schools, and will also be convenient for the first two phases of new homes, Beaulieu Heath and the newly launched Beaulieu Chase. Construction of Beaulieu Square is expected to take approximately 14 months, with the facilities scheduled to open in the summer of 2017.

Designed as a vibrant new district for Chelmsford, with inspiring architecture and attractive landscaping, Beaulieu is a great place for people to live, work and play.Set around the majestic backdrop of New Hall School and its estate parkland, where King Henry VIII once had his Palace, the development has been planned to create a series of distinctly designed neighbourhoods linked by beautiful parklands and open spaces.
