COUNTRYSIDE LAUNCHES NEW PHASE OF TUDOR INSPIRED STYLE HOMES AT FLAGSHIP DEVELOPMENT BEAULIEU

Countryside is launching Beaulieu Gate, its latest collection of new homes at Beaulieu, Chelmsford’s vibrant new development which is a 50/50 joint venture between Countryside and L&Q.

Following the success of Countryside’s previous phases, Beaulieu Gate will offer 116 private homes and 34 affordable homes with a range of one and two-bedroom apartments, one, two and three-bedroom maisonettes and a selection of two, three and four-bedroom houses, expanding the already thriving community at Beaulieu.

Beaulieu is rich with inspirational architecture, attractive landscapes, useful amenities and more. The development comprises a series of residential neighbourhoods, each with their own distinct character, ranging from traditional, New England style architecture to über-modern design. All homes are designed around extensive green spaces with exemplary community infrastructure.

Architecture inspired by its Tudor heritage

Surrounded by ancient parkland, Beaulieu Gate seamlessly blends history and nature, with a modern twist and features architecture inspired by the design of nearby New Hall School, which has occupied the magnificent Tudor Palace of Beaulieu since 1799 and is famous for being the former hunting lodge of Henry VIII. As its name suggests, Beaulieu Gate will act as the new gateway to the wider Beaulieu development, where a crescent of homes will greet you. Each home will showcase its own character and style but will be identifiable by unique design features such as semi-hexagonal bay windows, red brickwork and stone detailing. Signs of the developments heritage can also be seen throughout Beaulieu and the neighbouring areas.

Beautiful interiors

This selection of homes will boast modern and beautifullydesigned interiors with spacious living areas flooding homes with natural light. Interiors will showcase classic layouts with luxurious bathrooms and modern kitchens, complete with state-of-the-art integrated appliances. Homes at Beaulieu Gate will feature multi-purpose rooms providing ample space to transform into work areas with separate dining rooms and extra bedrooms. With a selection of apartments, maisonettes and houses, Beaulieu Gate truly offers a home for everyone.

A development with a rich community

Providing a variety of amenities to the residents and an opportunity to meet and socialise, Beaulieu Square is the area’s neighbourhood centre. The Square showcases the very best local retail, leisure, education and socialising offerings including a Sainsburys local, Costa coffee, dental surgery as well as a nursery and education centre to compliment the additional educational offerings at the site. Beaulieu is also home to Essex’s first all-through-school and a community centre providing a central hub for community activity.

A community close to nature

Spanning 176 acres, residents can enjoy natural meadows, formal gardens, allotments and parklands all surrounded by retained woodland. A wide variety of outdoor recreational and sports facilities are being created too, alongside play areas for children and beautifully landscaped green spaces allowing the community to feel close to nature.
