FIRST NEW HOMES ON THE MARKET AT BEAULIEU

The first highly anticipated new homes are now available at Beaulieu, Chelmsford’s exciting new quarter. Once the site of King Henry VIII’s palace and deer park, the historic Beaulieu Estate is being transformed into a vibrant community providing up to 3,600 homes along with a range of community facilities and new schools. Developers Countryside and L&Q are pleased to introduce Beaulieu Heath, the first collection of new homes, which have been released to the market this month.

Comprising 49 new houses in a range of sizes and layouts, this collection of outstanding properties is set amid parkland and extensive landscaped spaces with colonial style architecture that takes inspiration from the area’s rich heritage. From spacious five bedroom family homes split over three floors to stylish three and four bedroom houses offering flexible, well-designed space, Beaulieu Heath will suit many buyers and lifestyles.

Chris Bladon, Managing Director of New Homes and Communities Eastern at Countryside said: “We are pleased to launch Beaulieu Heath, the first of a series of distinctly designed neighbourhoods at Beaulieu linked by beautiful parkland and open spaces. Inspired by the surrounding countryside and the location’s history, Beaulieu Heath will provide comfortable modern living in a traditional English landscape setting. These exceptional homes will set the standard and ambience for the rest of the development and interest has been very strong.”

Located on the north eastern edge of Chelmsford and set against the majestic backdrop of the Grade I listed New Hall School, once King Henry VIII’s palace, Beaulieu is set to become a vibrant new place for people to live and work. The very best in design and contemporary construction techniques are blended with some of the much-valued design characteristics of traditional English villages, while extensive landscaping helps link the development to its wider environment.

The homes at Beaulieu Heath are situated next to open parkland and close to the new neighbourhood centre and proposed new primary and secondary schools. Leading architects have created the distinctive look, with attractive weatherboarding that characterises the exteriors of the homes. Inside a high quality specification ensures homes are perfectly equipped for family life.

Interiors incorporate light-filled living spaces, individually designed kitchens complete with the full range of integrated appliances, ceramic floor tiling to kitchen and bathrooms, and landscaped front gardens. Many have open plan dining / family areas with fully glazed doors that lead out onto peaceful enclosed rear gardens. Some properties also feature private roof terraces and most include a single or double garage, while some of the larger properties feature a separate study, wood burner in the living area and a dressing area to the master bedroom.

Beaulieu Chase will be the second collection of new houses to be released at Beaulieu in early 2016, offering contemporary style family homes ranging from two to five bedrooms, set around a well-thought out park and landscaped area.

All of the new residential areas will be supported by first class amenities that will allow the neighbourhoods to grow and flourish. Two primary schools and a secondary school are planned, as well as sports facilities and community, health and retail amenities, ensuring the development has a vibrant community hub from the outset. A wide network of open spaces will include meadows, recreation areas for dog walking, as well as a community garden and large parks with play areas, all connected with a network of footpaths, cyclepaths and bridleways. Investment in transport connections will also be key to the success of Beaulieu – the scheme includes a site for a new railway station on the East Anglian main line, as well as a new relief road connecting Beaulieu to the A12.

Given city status in 2012, Chelmsford is the county town of Essex and its historic centre offers excellent shopping and a vibrant nightlife. Its shopping centres and bustling high street offer all the big name brands, along with a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and wine bars, while the city is also renowned for its excellent schools, including its two top performing grammar schools. From Chelmsford station there are direct services to London Liverpool Street in as little as 35 minutes.

The homes at Beaulieu Heath range from £389,995 to £895,000. To register your interest in the new homes call 01245 597277.
