Bond Street opened in 2017 with flagship store John Lewis taking centre stage along with a new Cineworld, independent shops and several restaurants overlooking the river Chelmer. In contrast the city’s 800-year-old market at the opposite end of the city centre provides a whole host of stalls including antiques and collectables.
