Those that regularly participate in physical activity in good quality communal green spaces are likely to experience improvements to their health, as well as a greater sense of community and reduced social isolation according to Public Health England[1]. Buyers looking to improve their health and be welcomed into a new community, should look no further than Beaulieu Heath. Surrounded by green open spaces and offering an abundance of community facilities, award-winning developers, Countryside and L&Q, are proud to present the newest phase of homes at the popular family development in Chelmsford, Essex.

Chris Bladon, Managing Director of New Homes and Communities Eastern Region at Countryside said: “The new phase at Beaulieu Heath has been eagerly anticipated and we are therefore expecting it to be as popular as the first. It’s great to see the continued success of the development as homes remain in high demand. With the first residents having settled into their homes, a friendly community is already starting to form and we are looking forward to seeing this continue to grow as more new residents find their dream home at Beaulieu.”

A wide network of open spaces will include meadows, recreation areas for dog walking, as well as a community garden and large parks with play areas, all connected with a network of footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways. There are many opportunities for residents to spend time outside in the fresh air and with their friends and family, as well as others in the community, as green space is a fundamental part of Beaulieu.

New to the development and among the first selection of homes to be released is The Champney house design, a spacious five bedroom detached family home. Set over three storeys, the ground floor of the home features an open plan family, dining and kitchen area, a separate living room and also a double garage. The first floor boasts a grand master bedroom, comprising a private dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a luxurious en suite bathroom. Two further generously sized bedrooms and the family bathroom are also on this floor, with one of the bedrooms benefitting from an en suite. Finally, the second floor is home to the fourth and fifth bedrooms which are served by a shower room.

Two primary schools and a secondary school are planned, as well as sports facilities and community, health and retail amenities, ensuring the development has a vibrant community hub from the outset. Investment in transport connections will also be key to the success of Beaulieu – the scheme includes a site for a new railway station on the East Anglian main line, as well as a new relief road connecting Beaulieu to the A12.
